Wire for surfasing

HORDA hardfacing wires, as well as our welding wires, have the following technological advantages

The VITAPOLIS company produces several grades of surfacing wires, which can be used both in combination with shielding gas (diameter 1.0 - 1.6 mm) and in combination with welding flux (diameter 1.6 - 4.0 mm).

Wires can be used for renewal and repair surfacing of deteoriration surfaces, as well as for applying a wear-resistant layer in the manufacture of new parts that are subject to intensive wear during operation.

Excellent electrical contact between the wire surface and the current-carrying tip is provided by special cleaning of the wire surface after drawing and applying a conductive antifriction lubricant (fulfills the function of a very thin copper layer) that does not contain graphite.

The performance of the wire with a special finishing surface is particularly noticeable with fully mechanized welding, including robots.

HORDA wires can be successfully applied in combination with the surfacing technology of FRONIUS CMT, which allows to reduce the consumption of wire during surfacing and improve the performance of the welded layer, as well as to improve the technical and economic parameters of the surfacing process
